Tammi had a friend from back in Philadelphia who moved out here and we planned on meeting up with her to get some food. She ended up stuck in traffic due to a movie premier in hollywood tonight, and got here super late. It was about 6:15 when she got here, and she had to meet a friend at 6:30. We ended up getting in her car, driving around the block, and then she dropped us back off. It was funny, strange, and great. She seemed nice.
After that, we decided to go out to Venice Beach tonight to hustle people in basketball.
We stopped at Carl's Jr. on the way (that's where Tammi's friend wanted to take us, but we didn't get to go, so we went on our own). It was alright. Meh. I never want to eat hamburgers again.
We got to Venice right around sunset. Venice is a way more beachy town than Santa Monica, which is only about 5 minutes down the shoreline.
There were tons of super super nice houses lining the beach, and there was this one that was super awesome looking:
We also walked down this giant pier (which I had previously visited with my parents about 7 years ago) and looked around at things. It was really nice and you could see a lot of the city in the distance. I didn't see Wesley Snipes at all.
Havin' a great time.
It was a pretty laid back day and not really anything super exciting to report. Tomorrow we are having our last hoorah as tourists and going to Disneyland, so there should be a lot to report in the next entry. After that, Tammi goes home, and I start working. I'm hoping I'll have lots of cool stuff to talk about once I start working, too. We'll see.
Love ya.
