I love Yogurt (and UPS is still for jerks)

So UPS finally came today around 4:00pm.  So basically I sat around waiting from about 9am to 4pm.  It was awesome.  

So after a Quesadilla lunch, and after my Guitar and Xbox came, we decided to go out to Laser Blazer, a local LA DVD store which also contains the West Coast location of Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash (the comic book store owned by Kevin Smith).  

I read Kevin Smith's recent journal/book, and knew he came to Laser Blazer like every tuesday to buy DVDs, so I figured being an enthusiast myself, I totally had to go.

The store was pretty cool, and there was some sweet stuff in the Secret Stash area, like this Poop Monster from Dogma:

Also, they had a freaking Flux Capacitor Replica:

I wanted it so bad but it was like 200 bucks.  It was so heavy too. I don't know if you can grasp the size from that picture but it was like knee height. Life size.  One day...

So anyway, at the store I ended up picking up the new Joy Division Documentry, and most importantly...

Yeah, freaking Rock A Doodle.  My childhood in a DVD.  I can't wait to rewatch it and probably hate it. 

After Laser Blazer, we decided to go check out Pinkberry, which is apparently some fancy LA frozen yogurt store that's supposed to look retro/asian/hip.  Here are some pictures of it:

The yogurt actually tasted like yogurt.  I think it's supposed to be healthier for you.  Or something.  I might have made that up.

I enjoyed it.

So now we're back at the apartment watching the great 1960s film, That Darned Cat.  Oh him.

Venice Beach tomorrow, I think.
